Central Saanich Fire Hall

The new 20,000 sf Central Saanich Fire Hall No. 1 serves as the fire department's headquarter accommodating both volunteer and career personnel in addition to operating as the district's Emergency Operations Centre. The project focuses on integrating the regional architecture with site design to ensure that the post development storm water runoff from training areas and parking does not impact surrounding neighbours and local storm systems. The fire hall was designed to integrate improved living conditions for occupants, maximize energy efficiency, and focus on local materials and labour while providing the fire department with a functional and durable Fire Hall for years to come.
