I chose JDa because:

Working in a passionate, close-knit team offers a great opportunity to expand my architectural knowledge and to use the most advanced software that’s available. JDa works on a variety of interesting projects that matches well with my design and technical skillset of sustainable building practices.

I bring to JDa:

Two years of conceptual design experience from BCIT; one-and-a-half years of field experience producing technical drawings for residential and healthcare projects and a solid understanding of BIM software.

I’m drawn to design because:

It’s a way to combine problem-solving skills with creativity to produce an aesthetically pleasing structure.

Architects I admire the most:

Charles and Ray Eames. They were passionate about wanting to make the best, for the most, for the least, and came up with unique solutions to do so.

Preferred era in architecture:

Post-modernism

Material that excites me:

Mass-engineered wood

I chose Vancouver because:

Of the weather, the mountains and of course, school.
