I chose JDa because:
As architects and designers, we have a crucial role in building inclusive and resilient communities. I chose JDa because their work with civic services, education and healthcare is centered on that premise.
I bring to JDa:
A curiosity for how our city can evolve to meet future needs while respecting its cultural context.
Path to architecture:
I did my undergrad in industrial design. Understanding the finer-grain design process and hands-on prototyping for furniture and products gave me an appreciation for the tactility of architecture. It inspired me to look for how I could make an impact on a bigger scale.
Earliest architectural memory:
Sliding down the carpeted stairs of my family home.
