Protective/Emergency Services
Over 50 fire halls designed across British Columbia and Alberta

JDa, led by Kimberly Johnston, specializes in protective services design, and over the years our team has delivered police stations, courthouse facilities, emergency operations centres and a large number of fire halls to communities of all sizes across British Columbia and Alberta. Having worked on publicly funded projects for many years, we are skilled stewards of public monies and able to ensure both transparency and value are achieved. We are familiar with public process and have worked with many clients to effectively facilitate town hall meetings, speak at open houses, as well as produce drawings, sketches and visualizations to express design intent unique to each community. We have also been part of many successful referendum campaigns and are always ready to support our clients in engaging the public. In addition, we have the skill set and the database of our extensive protective services library to assist with budget development and value engineering if required. Below, we have the stories of our most recent and most interesting projects to date.
